Hakone Kowaki-En Master Plan, Hakone, Japan

The Hakone Kowaki-En destination resort master plan provides a 15-year redevelopment plan consisting  of over 1.5 million s.f. of new construction in a 125-acre area within Izu-Hakone National Park near Tokyo. The world renowned site, located in a spectacular mountain forest setting, provided the designers an opportunity to develop a 21st-century destination resort facility for mind, body and spirit.

Whaler’s Point Resort Hotel Master Plan, Sausalito, CA

Whaler’s Point Hotel is a 150-room full service  hotel on a 3.1 acre bay-front site on Drake’s Bay. To take advantage of its 340-foot shoreline location, the hotel is designed to focus toward the water and maximize on the views of Tiburon and San Francisco. A landscaped park-like shoreline provides public access to the water’s edge and creates the destination resort setting.

Intel Corporation RNB Plaza, Santa Clara, CA

The new Site Plan with redefined entry plaza design for Intel Corporation’s headquarters facility provides a fresh image appropriate for a leading semiconductor manufacurer while enhancing accessibility, security and safety measures. The design also facilitates minimum disruption during construction to the access and functionality of the Robert Noyse Building, the main corporate center for Intel.

San Jose City College Master Plan, San Jose, CA

A comprehensive 5 year master plan for an established vibrant institution located in the heart of silicon valley close to downtown and San Jose State University. Enrolling approximately 12,000 students each semester, San José City College is one of the Silicon Valley’s premiere institutions of higher education.

Downtown Land-use Plan, San Jose , CA

Economic analyss, planning and design for highest and best use was provided for an infill block in San Jose.  The site is served by the Santa Clara Valley Light Rail, and being adjacent to Santa Clara County administration and justice center, is an active mixed-use center of commercial and residential uses.

Fuji Golf Club House, Akita, Japan

Fuji Golf Club House is a design for a new two-story club house facilities for a new 27-hole golf course located on the northern prefecture of Akita, Japan.

San Jose City College Learning Resource Center, San Jose, California

Concept and schematic design was provided for the San Jose City and Evergreen College District in order to secure funding for the proposed project. The four story Leaning Resource Center combines the traditional library with distance learning and computer learning facilities.

Saikaibashi Corazon Resort Hotel, Sasebo, Japan

On a verdant peninsula in Nagasaki Bay, Japan, is a unique destination resort, Saikaibashi Corazon Re sort Hotel. The 91-room resort hotel includes indoor/outdoor spa and pools, four restaurants, western and Japanese banquet facilities, and conference center. Planned and designed with Hiroko Machida ICW and Taisei.Construction Corporation.

La Vista Golf Club and Hotel, Chiba, Japan

La Vista Golf Course Club House and Hotel was designed for Taiheiyo Golf Group with Hiroko Machida ICW in the mountainous countryside in Chiba Prefecture, Japan.   The club house consists of a full service restaurant, spa, men and women lockers, automated golf cart garage and a 24 room hotel. The architectural design firm of House+House collaborated on this project.

Sunnyside Gardens Senior Residential Care, Sunnyvale, California

A 180-bed senior residential care facility is located in a residential neighborhood in Sunnyvale, California. Sunnyside Gardens provides multi-purpose recreational and health care facilities, solarium lounge, and lots of outdoor recreation spaces and private patios.

Programming, design  and construction of Learning Resource and Computer Center in the heart of Silicon Valley, near Apple HQ and other high technology companies and start-ups.

Foothill Firehouse, Los Altos Hills, CA

The District fire station is located at 12355 El Monte Road on the campus of Foothill College. This modern facility houses some of the most advanced apparatus and equipment available today for performing fire suppression, medical and emergency response, and rescue operations

San Jose/Santa Clara Water Pollution Control, San Jose, California

A 40,000 s.f. laboratory and office complex provides an efficient facility for the City of San Jose Water Pollution Control Department’s Technical Services. The planning and design focuses on demonstration of water quality and conservation.  A 10,000 s.f. laboratory is designed to provide state-of-the-art facilities for biological and chemical water pollution analysis.
