About the Art

It was Breast Cancer Awareness Month as I designed this piece. I had recently learned of three friends diagnosed. This design is for them and for everyone struggling to maintain their mental health through a breast cancer diagnosis. We may not share the same struggle, but we all know the struggle. This shirt reminds me and those who wear it that we are more than any diagnosis and our silent illnesses- and by s sharing our struggles, we can overcome some mental strain by simply talking to one another. Talk about mental health.
